The NEITHER WET NOR DRY exhibition at GOGGA drips juicy. I bet you’ve bought into the fallacious notion that wetness is inherently yielding; maybe you’ve lived your whole life this way, thinking liquid lacks permanence or perspective or that which is fundamentally slash elementally mutable cannot achieve legibility. You, sadly, are a fool. Dryness, clearly, is mulish, hee-hawing gravely into the wind, marveling at the current’s endless capacity to hold hee-haws and other phenomena such as expressions of human pain and pleasure and the ineffable and/or asemic language of not-chairs. This strange yielding and unyielding, resolutely pre- post- and mid-bathtubbing world (the wandering star of the NEITHER WET NOR DRY exhibition at GOGGA) holds many layers of aridity and sog and the arms and legs of the artworks (flailing!) offer a tasty buffet of fractal logics that will freak you and reveal you. Be brave, take a bite, try a toothsome type of matter.

Sam Buck is a Los Angeles based country singer, artist and host of KFM, a long-running country variety show and podcast.
Cameron Cameron (b.1991 Austin, TX) employs sculptural interventions to compensate for generic imagery, exploring how the mundane, within the rural landscape, may represent the feeling of loss or longing around the disorder of the day-to-day. She uses mundane objects to serve as a reflection on how seemingly trivial choices can reveal aspects of ourselves. After Studio Art (BFA) at The University of Texas at Austin (UT), she attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Summer Studio Program, then pursued a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Cameron has participated in Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Ox-Bow School of Art, Grin City Collective Residency, the Art Students League of New York, and Shandaken:Storm King Residency. She currently teaches high school photography and runs the contemporary art gallery at Campbell Hall School in Los Angeles and is a contributing and founding member of MATERIAL GIRLS.
Andrew Freire is an artist working in installation, text, and painting. His work participates within documentary practices, archive platforms and legal discourse. Research within these disciplines and subsequent artwork, allows him to reconsider the impacts of legal regimes, its generational transmission and mythologies. His current projects are exploring the structure of U.S. immigration, resource extraction and memory. Freire is an attorney licensed and practicing in Los Angeles, CA.
Emory Hall (b. 1993) is a visual artist and food stylist from Kansas City, Missouri. Nearly a decade of work in restaurants in both front of house and back of house has inspired her vision of hospitality and the evolving culinary journey that continues to unfold in her work. Inspired by installations, towers of opulence and grand gestures of generosity, she works meticulously to merge both visual artistry and culinary forms together. She works with and for a handful of talented chefs as a sous around Los Angeles and styles food for events, photoshoots and private parties. Often hired as a private chef and as a stylist, her work aims to collaborate with the guest in experience, resulting in an experience that delights and lends itself to rich hospitality. A CalArts graduate and a former chef at Oxbow School of Art, she is always thinking about visual elements - whether it be purely consumption or for looks only.
Holly Harrell (b. 1993 Warwick, NY) examines American mythologies, from the practices and techniques involved in storytelling to purchasing bulk ketchup to save money. Through storytelling and genre subversion, her work reimagines how American mythologies reflect processes of memory, misremembering and contested histories. She completed her MFA at the California Institute of the Arts (2020) and holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2015).
She has performed and exhibited in spaces such as Dfbrl8r, Hyde Park Art Center, Roger Brown Study Collection and the Terrain Biennial in Chicago and MAK Center for Art and Architecture, Cirrus Gallery, Human Resources, Los Angeles Contemporary Archive, Anat Ebgi Gallery, Sebastian Gladstone Gallery, Charlotte Call Gallery and different project spaces in Los Angeles. She attended the REEF Residency from 2020-2021 and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2024. Forthcoming she is participating in a video biennial in Los Angeles and internationally and is working on a snowman sculpture for a group show in October.
Winny Hoang is an artist based in Los Angeles.
Hea-Mi Kim (b. 1993) is an artist from Detroit, MI, currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Merging the techniques of painting and collage, her practice focuses on compiling a two dimensional surface through gestures of adding and subtracting. Each composition goes through multiple stages of painting, experimenting, collaging, and cutting holes, with each step leaving its trace behind.
Kim received a BFA from Parsons School of Design (2018) and an MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles (2021). Her work has been exhibited in galleries including Sidecar, Los Angeles (2024); Móran Móran, Los Angeles (2023); Artist Curated Projects, Los Angeles (2023); and Central Server Works, Los Angeles (2025).
Brittany Mack (b. Laguna Beach, CA) is a Los Angeles-based artist who earned her BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts in 2020. Working with acrylic paint and a needlepoint ink pen on solid wood slabs, Mack investigates the intersection of sexual fantasy, the yearning frustrations of desire, and the persistence of phallic memory through personal narrative and formal abstraction. She has participated in several group exhibitions with Kill Shelter Presents, curated by Conrad Guevara in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Her forthcoming exhibition at Goodmother Gallery opens in October 2026.
Priscilla Mars is a Los Angeles based photographer and filmmaker from Fresno CA, constantly inspired by the landscapes of LA and experimental processes.
Walker Olesen is an artist, City of Los Angeles surf coach, and licensed EMT.
Buzz Szilagyi is an autodidact artist and designer in Los Angeles, CA. Born in Cleveland, OH in 1988, Szilagyi makes multi-media sculpture and clothing from recycled materials.
Rae Tweed is an artist based in Los Angeles and raised nomadically across Chicago, Richmond and Cleveland. She is a figurative collage artist considering the line between well-mannered posturing and public gaze.
West Uram (b.1996 Albuquerque, NM) graduated with a BA from Middlebury, VT, and now lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
Nathan Ward (b. 1992 Los Angeles, CA) is an artist and teacher who received his BA from UCLA.
